Day 1 ATHENS
Arrival at Athens International Airport. Meet and greet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Check in and in the afternoon you will proceed to Panoramic Athens City Tour. You’ll see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the PrimeMinister’s residence (Ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Evzones in their colourful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, The Constitution Square (Syntagma) and of course the Parthenon and Acropolis museum.Back to the hotel. Overnight in Athens.

Day 2 ATHENS COAST – CAPE SOUNION
After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to a full day tour in Attica coast. We will cross the big coast road: we will pass the big cities of Glyfada and Vouliagmeni , till we reach the black stone beach . There you will enjoy swimming and water sports. Late in the afternoon we will proceed to Cape Sounion for visiting the temple of Poseidon.

Day 3 ATHENS – DELPHI – KALAMBAKA
Breakfast at the hotel and then we will start an unforgettable trip to the mainland Greece. Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus, Levadia and Arachova, we will reach Delphi. The centre of Ancient World – the “Omphalos” (Navel of Earth) – whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios.Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias.
After our guided tour, free time in the village of Delphi for walking, shopping and lunch (optional). Early in the afternoon we will depart for the town of Kalambaka , passing through picturesque villages and big towns of Central Greece. Dinner (optional) and overnight.

Day 4 KALAMBAKA – METEORA – PLATAMONAS CASTLE – OLYMPUS COAST
After breakfast, we will visit the Meteora monasteries, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art.
After our guided tout we continue through the region of Thessaly, passing the big towns Trikala and Larissa for the Platamon castle, a Crusader castle (built between 1204 and 1222) in northern Greece and is located southeast of Mount Olympus, in a strategic position which controls the exit of the Tempe valley, through which passes the main road connecting Macedonia with Thessaly and southern Greece which overlooks the highway, is an imposing medieval fortress. (stop for 1 hour, no guided tour)
We continue tor our hotel in the Olympus coast , under the imposing mountain Olympus , the higher in Greece (2.918 meters) which according to the Greek mythology was the residence of the 12 Gods. Check in to our sea front hotel and overnight.

Day 5 VERGINA – EDESSA – THESSALONIKI
After our breakfast, we depart for the town of Vergina, a village in Imathia region that became worldwide renown in the past few decades, owing to the discovery there of the ancient city of Aigai, the ancient capital of the Macedonian kings, and its cemetery. Of particular note are the tombs of the royal dynasty, most notably King Philip II and a young prince who is identified as Alexander IV, and a cist grave. The royal tombs were discovered in 1977-8 by the archaeologist Manolis Andronikos.
After our guided tour, one hour free for lunch at a local restaurant (optional) and proceed for our next stop,
Edessa, known as “city of waters”, because of its big waterfalls, the largest in Greece and also very famous for it’s fresh fruits.
In the afternoon we depart for our hotel in Thessaloniki, the second bigger city of Greece but probably the most beautiful! Check in to our hotel and after some time of relaxing we will transfer you to the city centre for dinner (optional) and a taste of the well known Thessaloniki’s nightlife.

Day 6 THESSALONIKI CITY TOUR – PELLA
After breakfast to our hotel, we will proceed for Thessaloniki’s city tour. Thessaloniki, a lively modern city overlooking the Gulf of Thermaikos, is the capital of Macedonia and second largest city of Greece
today. The White Tower (in Greek Lefkos Pyrgos), which dominates the seafront promenade and is one of the last remainders of the 15th century fortifications, has become Thessaloniki’s unofficial emblem.In 1997 the city was the Cultural Capital of Europe. It was also an Olympic city during the 2004 Olympic games in Greece.Thessaloniki was founded in 315 B.C. by Kassandros, king of Macedonia and former general of Alexander the Great. During the Byzantine era Thessaloniki was the second most significant city of the Byzantine Empire, after the capital Constantinople. The wealth of the 14th century Byzantine churches testifies to the heights to which Christianity then attained in the city (St. Paul preached here and also addressed the Thessalonians’ in his well known epistle). This panoramic tour of Thessaloniki includes the Galerian complex- Rotonda triumphal arch, via Egnatia with the medieval churches the holocaust monument and the port of Thessaloniki and the symbol of the city the white tower, we will do 3 stop overs in the city walls and the trig onion tower with the panorama of the city, the basili
ca of St. Demetrius from the 5th century A.D. with the roman bath below and we will visit the archaeological museum of Thessaloniki.
Then we will visit Pella, an ancient Macedonian city located in the current Pella regional unit of Central Macedonia in Greece and was the capital of the ancientkingdom of Macedon. On the site of the ancient city of Pella is the Archaeological Museum of Pella.

Day 7 ATHOS CRUISE – VOURVOUROU BEACH
After breakfast at the hotel we will proceed to Mount Athos cruise. The ships depart from Ouranoupolis port, right next to the “gates” of Holy Mount Athos, according to demand. Departure times is 10:30 the cruise lasts 3 hours. The ship heads to the south-western part of the peninsula and in. 10 minutes, it reaches the sea-borders of the monastic state and its territory.From there, it arrives in ca. 15 minutes in the area of the first Russian cloister and after sailing by unique beaches, it arrives in the area of the first monastery, Iera Moni Dochiariou, in ca. 40 minutes. Another 7 monasteries follow then, as well as the Holy Mount’s central port, Daphni, and finally the cloisters, small villages, where groups of monks live in every house. The duration of the tour-guiding’s last part is. 40 minutes. The ship returns sailing again by the last 4 monasteries and, having one and half hour spare time up to Ouranoupolis port, you can do your shopping on board, discuss your impressions or take photos of yourselves on the ship’s bridge with the Captain.
Then we will visit the extremely beautiful beach of Vourvourou , where you may have lunch (optional) and swimm.

Day 8 THESSALONIKI’S AIRPORT
After breakfast at the hotel we will transfer you to Thessaloniki’s airport for your international fight.
